In year transfers

 

An in year admission is when a parent wishes to apply for a place at a school outside of the usual admission date at the start of the academic year.  This can be because the child is moving to a different address or is new to the country or can be for other reasons.  These moves usually take place during the academic year, which is why they are referred to as “in year” admissions.

Applying for Reception places

 

If you are looking for places for a child to join reception we would be happy to show you around our Early year setting.  Please ring the school office and book a tour. 

 

The application process to join Reception in September 24 is live and must be applied for by the 15th January 2024 by following the link below.

Applying for Nursery Places

 

Here at Kenton Bar Primary School, we have a 26 place school nursery.

If you child has turned 3 before September, you can apply for a place to start at the beginning of the Autumn term (September). 

 

If space allows, we take children throughout the year, the term after their third birthday. 

 

Please ring the school office to arrange a visit and collect an application pack.
