Music
At Kenton Bar Primary School, we place a great emphasis on the importance of Music within our curriculum. Music is a universal language which contributes to our well-being and to our social, emotional and cultural development.
At Kenton Bar Primary School, we provide a strong musical education using 'Charanga Music'.
Charanga allows children to learn musical skills through structured lessons which ensure progress and fun through lessons specifically designed for each year group - rhythm and beat, singing with lyrics, learning musical notations and playing instruments. All children within school also have their own access to the website which allows them to improve on their musical skills from home via games, challenges and instrument based worlds.
All children have a login which they can use to access the website from home.
