Ethos, Vision, Aims and Values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Throughout Kenton Bar Primary School, we seek to offer a stimulating, motivating and secure environment where all children and adults are valued equally. We plan to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with continuity and progression to enable every child to achieve high academic standards and live a fulfilling and healthy life style.

We promote 6 core values:

Respect, Honesty, Friendship, Kindness, Perseverance and Teamwork.

All children and staff work towards these with our reward system linked too. We encourage creativity, independence and co-operation and aim to develop self-confidence, understanding and the ability to make good choices. Kenton Bar Primary is a caring school where all children are given the opportunity, skills and support to achieve their full potential.

Everyone in the school community - governors, staff, pupils and parents – work closely together to provide an atmosphere where all feel they belong, believe and achieve.
